Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment

Course Purposes

The purpose of hazard identification and risk assessment is to keep workplace safe and healthy. Employers should make sure there are no hazards to which employees could be exposed. Employers should look for hazards in advances part of their risk management plan to prevent potential hazards.

Course Objectives:

At the end of the course, delegates will be able to:
  •   Describe the broad categories of hazards that exist within OIL rig’s environment
  •   Discuss the principles and application of the systematic approach to the management of workplace hazard
  •   Distinguish between hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control
