Advanced production optimization

Course Purposes

This course is designed to give attendees an overview of various artificial lift solutions and related production optimization concepts. Predict the rate at which a well should be capable of producing, given reservoir and fluid properties, wellbore configuration, and flowing wellhead pressure. Identify which components of the reservoir/completion/wellbore system are restricting performance; analyze production data to find permeability, skin factor, and drainage area; forecast future performance from historical production trends and from known reservoir properties.
