This course will allow the participant to become familiar with the ESP system and when it should be used. All components will be described in detail. Design and analysis problems will be done using advanced computer programs. Some films will be shown mostly illustrating installation, operation, and removal of failed equipment, new products, and best practices. Problems will be solved and discussed by the class members each day. Discussion is encouraged concerning experiences of
successes and failures. Problems addressing solids, gas handling and viscosity are addressed. Best practices are stressed throughout so a long lasting system can be developed for maximum profit.
SCADA controls and VSDs are discussed.
